The Challenges & Best Strategies to Implement Cloud Services

From being purchased by the leading Israeli communications company, Bezeq International Ltd., to being chosen as the Microsoft Israel Partner of the Year for 2022, the past year has been a year of growth and success for Cloudedge.

In an article published in Globes, Nisim Caspi and Avihai Hajaj, co-founders of Cloudedge discuss the challenges and best strategies to implement cloud services in organizations.

Many organizations struggle with their cloud activity strategy, whether in improving an existing one or building a new one. Cloudedge specializes in planning and assimilation of Microsoft cloud services, such as Azure, Office 365 and Cloud Security among leading commercial companies in the Israeli market in the fields of insurance and finance to military and government organizations.

According to Nisim Caspi, co-founder and CEO of CloudEdge, “CloudEdge’s unique expertise in Microsoft cloud services, together with Microsoft’s cloud services and Bezeq International’s encompassing suite, sets a new standard for innovation and professionalism”.

Being a Microsoft-certified company, CloudEdge has vast experience in providing cloud migration solutions and services to a variety of organizations in the Israeli market. According to Avihai Hajaj CTO of CloudEdge, one of the primary processes in building an organizational cloud strategy is mapping out the organization’s business and technological needs as well as any other specific requirements. Some organizations are more influenced by regulation changes such as governmental or financial bodies, while others focus on remote work and a large volume of video/audio conversations across the globe.

CloudEdge offers its services to companies that require advanced and managed cloud services as well as to organizations that use servers and technologies they developed by themselves. According to Avihai, not every solution an organization offers needs to be uploaded to the cloud. However, when unique organizational tools require to be uploaded, CloudEdge has the expertise and skills to adapt them to the cloud environment and to make sure they operate in it well.

Prior to its acquisition by Bezeq International, CloudEdge provided infrastructure, information security and cloud services as well as outsourcing services of IT professionals, to its clients. Over the years, CloudEdge has developed a working methodology that allows for a gradual migration to the cloud, ultimately resulting in full adoption of Microsoft cloud services. Avihai further elaborates that preliminary processes, such as planning, building a training program and adopting the correct cloud architecture while maintaining advanced security protocols, can facilitate easy migration to the cloud for organizations.

“Being Microsoft’s partner of the year after only four years since our establishment, during the challenges posed by Covid-19, is an empowering process. Partnering with Bezeq International’s organizational suite can accelerate our activity in both the Israeli and global market and allow us to continue doing what we do best – plan and implement cloud services”, Avihai adds.
